The fact that the management team have failed to address the glaringly obvious problems from the pre-season friendlies.. when we do come up against better opposition they take their chances from said problems..
1. Exhibit one, in the Charlton game Harry Darling strokes the ball into his own net from an error due to the suicidal way Martin is coaching these players.. then what do we do on Saturday against superior opposition we gift Blackburn the easiest goal they'll score this season by f*cking about with it and passing it like they're playing over 60s walking football
2. Exhibit two, in the Plymouth game, we play a system where the space in-between the CB and Wing Back can be exploited, I pointed it out all last season and in the Plymouth game where Plymouth should've scored or punished us about 3 times.. luckily we got away with it.. then what do we do on Saturday against superior opposition, Blackburn broke about four times, a ball over the top in-between our CB and Wing Back and it's curtains
So how do we combat this, get in two actual Wing Backs would obviously help enormously with this flawed system, get two CBs in with pace and sell Darling, Wood and Cabango because they're too slow to play it, which is obvious.. but we're not going to do that, so shall we go 4 at the back and drop Naughton who has started this season as if his legs have gone, I'd actually sub him and put Darling in the centre.. and give Joe Allen the captaincy and sub Grimes, which won't happen because our manager hasn't got a clue, Grimes is the only player who plays for stats, pointless passing stats, he makes so many pointless passes, sideways, back, sideways, turns, sideways, plays about 4 direct balls forward during the game and f*cks up about 2 of them.. when are managers going to realise he is a big problem.. there's a reason nobody has wanted him since he got Northampton relegated, he just hasn't got it, he has a go like, but hasn't got the skillset, the brain to get us out of this league
