• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We know the deal. Sheehan and O Dea in my mind has made a promising team into a poor side.

There is no reason with the players we have we cannot move up the table.

Announce Matos, and we start our season on Tuesday.

Many will say we don't have the players. We do. And I'll live and die on that.

We need a coach that makes us more clinical and better tactically and new ideas.

From the result of today, I think it's clear Sheehan got his backroom set up wrong and was saved last season by the scot.

For Inoussa, Widell, Galbraith, Idah, Stamenic, Samuels Smith, Casey and Yalcouye perhaps. We don't yet know their ceiling. They might well be better. Perhaps a good coach could make a difference.

But there is plenty of evidence that Cabango, Key, Tymon, Eom, Ronald, Cullen, Franco and Fulton are what they are - inconsistent, incapable of maintaining high standards over 46 games.

I can see Calvin Ramsay coming in for RB on loan from Liverpool in January, Kaide Gordon too.

Agreed. Tymon and Cabango I would proberly exclude from that list. But how a manager cannot get a tune out of this squad will suprise me. Well has.

What worries me generally is does every fan of a bottom half club think ‘our squad is better than what the manager is showing?’.
Yeah I understand that. And argument could be we have not seen the team perform at a level since pre season or last for full 90 minutes but you could see the tactics in second half was shocking. Burgess on Keys position. To Fulton coming on and Santos on. Very odd

Let's hope so and 3 or 4 game bounce will see us hopefully mid table. If not we are fvcked.👍

Our season started on the first day these clowns turned up for pre season training.
