• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

One thing has been noticed is that there was a fee payable for £900 or thereabouts, which were to be made in two instalments, one of circa £600 and the rest to be made on completion. Neither of which were paid, so the question is why did RR or her hubby question why these payments were not asked for. I'm not saying there wasn't a nausea up, but there is always an excuse, isnt there. Its piss poor tbh, if any anyone of us had done similar, wed have been in the sh1t. Anyway, there will be another catastrophe tomorrow and we'll move on to the next disaster/scandal, smoke and mirrors guys and gals.👍

Of course and that’s because I’m right.
ECB is the type, to vote for a party and stick up for it.. even if the house is on fire, and the dull c*nt is sitting in the living room supping a cup of tea.. this was the bloke that openly stated "We've got grown ups in charge now, a non-corrupt government".. in fantasy land

This thread doesn’t half sum up the problem we have in this country.

The Chancellor was wrong to not check the agency had done what they said they would do. I imagine, however, she’s pretty busy and paperwork probably isn’t top of her list.

But having made this error and apologised, the screaming from some, even on here (Darran!) demonstrates the idiotic nature of discourse at the moment.

If the chancellor was removed from post 1 month before the budget, the market reaction would cost everyone on this thread money. Possibly quite a lot of money. Gilt yields would immediately rise meaning the cost of government borrowing would rise and the planned tax rises would be increased even further, or public services would be cut. Mortgages would also be higher in the short term at the very least.

You do NOT piss around playing games with the chancellor position at this point in the economic cycle.

The fact that Badenoch and her braying colleagues don’t recognise that is enough to make them utterly unsuitable for office.

And people on here and elsewhere should wake up and live in the real world.

The right wing press are pushing this now (remember this dates back over a year) to attempt to cause chaos before the budget. As they don’t want to pay tax and don’t care about public services.

What part of that is so difficult to understand?

This ‘crime’ is something where councils hardly ever issue any fines at all (not even a hundred quid or so) as long as it’s a one off and isn’t a mass landlord deliberately avoiding the license. The maximum figure is for deliberate, multiple avoidance.

Get a grip.

You literally wouldn't be in the shit though. The council would tell you to do it now and be more careful in the future.

And agencies pay over rental income after deducting all sorts of crap. Fees, any repair costs, etc etc. so half the time people probably don’t check what’s been taken and what hasn’t.
