This country is truly f*cked up.
I’ve said it many times in the past and I’ll say it now,I’d never blame a footballer for earning what they earn because I don’t believe it’s the footballers fault but last week Kevin De Bruyne signed a new four year contract with Man City believed to be in the region of £385k a week.

Then you see things like this. 🤬

Well is there someone itk who could send this link to KdB? £20k not even a mornings work for him

As you say Dar the earnings are not the players fault but it is obscene when you look at "real life"

That's why I think if players get criticism when earning such high amounts they need to accept it especially if they put in a poor performance.

My best wishes to the brave lady. Such an important and amazing job the paramedics do, and often with total dickheads getting in their way.

You'd almost think it would be a good idea for people to vote for a political party who had a policy of progressive income tax to pay for excellent public services like the NHS, wouldn't you?

Oh wait. There is, and they don't.

One of the reasons I moved to Spain.

Just two small examples. The is a doctor's surgery in my small village of approximately 450 inhabitants. It's an adjunct of the health centre in the town (Pego) three kilometres away. It's open for three hours a day, five days a week. If I want an appointment, I make it online and it's rarely more than 10 days hence. When you go in, the doctor takes his time and you get as long as you need. He even says "is there anything else I can do for you?" at the end. If you need a blood and urine test (routine here in Spain, the doctors are thorough), it's arranged at the local health centre within a fortnight. From what I hear from my mother, it's easier for her to get an audience with the pope than to see her doctor in the Ferry.
Another small example. When I drive around the ring road in Pego, I often see local council employees in high vis jackets sweeping up and collecting the leaves and pine needles from the road edges, and council gardeners creating spectacular flower and shrub displays in the centres of the roundabouts.
This is called public services, boys and girls. Remember them? People in Britain need to feckin wake up and stop voting for Boris and his band of crooks, but will they? I doubt it.

All the feckers do here is put Council Tax up, to pay for the councillors jollies, very little else gets done.
