Relegation Update

What a crap night that was , agree with you , certainly not out of the woods yet, and crazy as though it seems , had posters on here rooting for Derby and Luton to win last night, beggars belief.

Can't help thinking about the way we got relegated out of the Premier league. Looked to be cruising to safety with 10 games left, including fellow strugglers Southampton and Stoke at home, lost them both , and as they say , the rest is history. Take nothing for granted chaps.

9 points ahead with nine games to go should be a stroll. The bottom 4 have fewer than one point per game.

We were never this far clear, but yes, if we do a shithouse job like Carvalhal, we could get a bit nervous. Next season will be a right old panic job if we don’t strengthen in some key areas and ditch the deadwood.

Should be achievable, but take out the Burnley, Leeds and Sunderland games.
A couple of mid table teams but potentially many 6 pointers.

We can afford to draw those but teams will be battling

We'll proberly lose next 2 games and then get a few wins and draws. All I care about is getting us to safety and personally could care less at present time about those going down.

We aren’t only 9 points ahead, we’re 9 points ahead with 5 teams between us and the bottom 3. Not only would one of the bottom three need to go on a hell of a run, 4 of the 5 would also need to overtake us.
And various combinations of the 8 below us will be playing each other every game from now on.
And we have to play some of them.

It’s not a given but it would be astonishing if we went down from where we are. I suspect it will be 3 from the bottom 4. Maybe bottom 5. And I think we all are hoping who will be one of them…
