• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Billy Bear. Bloody hell, haven’t seen that for years. God knows what’s in it.

You can shove Waynes fancy arsed tory nonsense where the sun don't shine. Give me a packet of Billy Bear any day of the week, food of the gods that!

I’m amazed that no one has mentioned a bacon and freshly fried mushrooms sandwich. Salivating as I type.

Why the hell would you wreck a perfectly good bacon sandwich with mushrooms of all things. 🤮

Bacon and Egg sarnies mun, you put mushies in with a Steak and Red Onion sarnie.

Omelette sarnie is nice to, just add a squirt or two of Hp with it.

Sandwich meat isn't Tory 🤣

One assumes we're talking about picking this sandwich up to eat it? With fingers?

Then as much as I like a fried egg I favour mushrooms as a bacon accompaniment in a sarnie. And for quite practical reasons.

Having fried mushrooms is like having half a dozen little juicy pleasure bubbles in your butty. Whereas the sheer unpredictability of what happens when you bite into a molten hot egg yolk - well, it doesn't bear thinking about.

Eggs win hands-down in the "what to have on toast" question.

Bacon and Egg sarnies are a thing of beauty, just be careful with the yolk and not because of the heat, if its squirts out it can mess your string vest up, unless you don a bib of course

Molten its not Lava mun

Egg is the food of the devil!

This house has reverted to bacon and sausage sandwiches or a baguette (depending on what is there)

Absolutely gorge

Nah, too meaty a combo for me, that.

Another issue with the bacon (or sausage) and egg roll is how slidey the egg can be. I invariably end up with a lopsided sarnie as the egg shifts its position.

I'm with you on that one, but for a tasty little addition, may I humbly suggest adding a steak of brown sauce?
