Whaaaaa??? Surridge and Wilmot were decent for us, and still very young. I think 5.5M is a bit tasty but can't see why our fans would be calling them awful. Don't be surprised to Stoke flying past us with the likes of them in the side.

Stoke should have flown past everyone with what they’ve spent, so we’ll see. Surridge and Wilson decent I thought, but I’d be horrified at 5.5m. It’s a gamble.

Wilmot especially seems like a very sensible purchase. There was some surprise Watford let him go after he played very well for them last season by all accounts.

Was surprised to note Ryan Woods left Stoke on a free transfer this summer. Who knows how he would have done under Potter, but looks like we dodged a bullet there.
