You should pay attention to what you use as well as what you pay, the two figures can be vastly different. If you don’t have a smart monitor and are worried that you might be racking up a huge bill then you can track it via physical meter readings. Simply take the reading, factor in the price per unit and the daily standing charge, this will get you close enough.
Also remember that it’s only the last couple of weeks that have been cold. The proceeding five or six weeks were extremely mild due to the southerly winds. Your November bill will likely look very different to your December bill.
