Not a fan but I’m fascinated by them.

Watching a documentary last night on the King Cobra, didn’t realise that it is the only snake that builds a nest to lay its eggs and rear its young...intriguing or what.

These clips from recent bbc docs are unreal.

What do other snakes do then?

Some bury their eggs, some lay somewhere warm, some give birth to live young.

The Grass Snake lays eggs and the other British snakes, the Adder and the Smooth Snake give birth to live young.

Seen a number of Adders over the years and a few Grass Snakes.

This guy appeared at the entrance to the property where we were staying in Cyprus a few years ago.
