Words that were on the lips of many Swansea fans yesterday evening was “where do we go from here” after another inept display from the Swans that saw us fall to a third defeat of the season at Middlesbrough. Yet again the Swans found themselves way off the pace for much of the game and […]

I know where we’re heading if things don’t improve ..League 1, here we come.

It makes sense that a manager that took us from a playoff final to 15th in one fell swoop can only take us from 15th to 24th on current evidence. There is nothing, not even a glimmer of hope in the performances, that we’re going anywhere other than league one. What a waste.

Two questions should be answered soon , is piroe staying and do the players still have faith in Martin

Wonder how many people will renew their ST between December early bird and the end of the season if we're still playing this nonsensical system?

I’m not renewing. I haven’t used this year’s yet and I’m already looking at doing something else on Saturday, although I might come down to see family.. To watch the game, the travel is no longer worth it when matched to the ‘enjoyment’ I get out of it.

Tell me about it. Over the years, one of the big pluses for me was meeting up with my brother and his 2 lads and for a while my son had an ST too and the 5 of us always have great fun together regardless of what we do or where we are. Now, it's the main reason I go and the football has become a bit of a side show.

I remember saying about 6-7 years ago in a thread on the old board, that we planned to retire to Portugal but I didn't want to go while Swans were still in the Prem. (I actually recall Lisa saying she thought that was a strange reason to delay a major life decision or something to that effect). However, by the time the Swans did finally exit the Prem, my wife's health and mental state had deteriorated which unfortunately meant retiring to Portugal was not a realistic option (plus the fact that I hadn't actually retired) but right now the truth is, if we could, I'd still go in a heartbeat without a backward glance at the football. I'd still probably watch nearly all of the games on Swans TV but I don't think I'd miss going to a game.

"So where are we going? We are not waving, we're drowning."

Realistic outlook.
There is no enjoyment at the mo

I thought long and hard about renewing when Sousaball was being played, even though I felt we could beat nearly anyone under him. Just bored.
Only time I've ever fallen asleep in a ground, including after a hard nightshift!
But Sousa made sense and gave Brenda the perfect platform- glad I renewed even if it was at the last minute

Martinball.
A system that is nonsensical, a system he obviously can't coach defensively or offensively.
I'm not sure if I'd be surprised if we only won 1 this season and a handful of draws, going down with the lowest record number of points (excluding points deductions)
Least optimistic I have been since Petty was down here, at the start of a season- normally predict us as promotion material and FA Cup winners (yes. Always wrong- but optimistic!)
Thought that in the first 2 games- quickly let down in the 1st home game.
Proved further by Millwall and Luton.

If Martin is still here come March, I can see me seriously considering not renewing a ST I've had in the same seat since we moved to the Morfa.

I sympathise 100% with how you feel but the truth is, when you've hit rock bottom, what comes after can only be gradual improvement. You wouldn't want to miss that would you?

Well we ain't got rock bottom yet and when you say gradual you mean like 40 years.
