Sounds like a plan...

Had an awesome week. Absolutely blown away by a tour around Glen Moray distillery. I didn’t realise the ‘art’ of whisky making and the influence of the cask on the end product. Weather been superb, same for the food and drink.
Sounds brilliant Coops, are you doing any selections for tomorrow’s footy?

An addition to mowing the lawn, I'm making a broccoli & stilton soup for Sunday's starter before a roast turkey dinner with goose fat roasted potatoes, a favourite of my parents (& anyone who tries them). Likely I'll make a load extra & take them into work to share.

Visiting our eldest and the grandkids this week. Probably won’t get a chance to watch the game but they make up for the disappointment of the football. Granddaughter’s birthday (7) Sunday so full on day expected.

Tomorrow watching the footy in the afternoon, was going to cut the front lawn but it’s either fox or dog poo recent so scrap that, and evening back to the Lost on Netflix which I’m really enjoying now. No beer, got my eyes on maxwell house Cappuccino.

Stayed in the Penny Black at the bottom of Rose Street many years ago for the Scottish rugby trip, bit of a dive it was, just around the corner from the Guildford Arms.
Have a great time bud...
Some years ago got invited to a stag do in Edinburgh .
The trip was arranged Scotland v Wales in the Six Nations rugby , we all had tickets too .

Atmosphere around Murrayfield was amazing and enjoyed it .

Went back to Princes Street post match full of Red shirts then but a local recommended going for a visit to Rose St. and try them establishments out instead .

Luckily Edinburgh had an all night bus service , it was used by me and my mate to get back our Hotel in the early hours , a great night out .

I prefer Rose Street to The Royal Mile and the Grassmarket for a drink, much less touristy.

Two unexpected wins today, 3pts from the Swans, then cut my lawn after lunch. Don’t think I’ve ever cut it in November before 😎

Lived in Embra for many years. There are a couple of little pubs in the back streets that I liked…and of course, the Oxford bar. Rose Streets a good caper. Also used to down a few in the Cafe Royal. Not been there since 2005 so it’s probably changed a lot.
