One year and two weeks ago they lost 9-0 at home to Leicester

If they win tonight they will go into Saturday top of the Premier League - first time they would have ever held the overnight lead in the PL

Quite a turnaround, fair play

Cracking strike for their goal, should never have had the opportunity though, dreadful defensive play by Newcastle.

Have a lot of time for Southampton and Reading, they are good southern clubs that bring through some real talent in a decent part of the world as far as I am concerned.

Southampton have a good squad again, expect it to be pilfered again soon but lets see how they go while it lasts.

Thanks for drawing attention to it here and lets hope it is not the proverbial kiss of death.

He’s got a good hit on him, that lad. I remember him scoring a screamer at the Liberty for Birmingham.

Not one of my favoured clubs the Saints, but playing really good football tonight fair play to them, 2 up and denied a stonewall penalty as well.

They look the fittest side I've seen for a while. Swear there was 14 of em on the pitch.
