THREE TIMES! I suggest that the anger regarding this particular case/atrocity is likely to remain for some time yet, especially when headlines like this appear.

And of course it fuels the anti: government/authority mistrust from those that shout out the words "cover up".

“THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. HE’S REFUSED TO ENTER A PLEA NOW THOSE POOR FAMILIES WILL BE PUT THROUGH A FULL TRIAL WHICH THEY’VE SCHEDULED FOR INAUGURATION DAY SO THE TRUTH WILL NEVER COME OUT”.

Today, the animal pleads guilty and the truth that he was known to the authorities actually comes out:

“THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS, HE’S PLEADED GUILTY NOW THERE WON’T BE A FULL TRIAL SO THE FULL TRUTH (cos there’s always more you see) WILL NEVER COME OUT”

Fucking idiots.

Two hours later, government announces a full public inquiry. It won’t shut them up though.

They’ve always been there but the worldwide platform they now have in Twitter has emboldened them, along with the normalisation of extreme views by the likes of Trump, Farage and large elements of the modern Tory party. There are probably more of them than we ever thought though, a lot of previously seemingly sensible people have shown their true side this past few months. Especially since Labour won the election. A lot of people did not take that well and it sent them on a spiral.

What is wrong the the systems we have in this country, that let this type of incident happen time and time again, when I can clearly be avoided. Children, the valnerable, the elderly all being let down by 'the system'. Its a massive issue that needs a complete head to tail overhaul, and fast.

I don't think you'll find many who'd argue with you, the problem is how to do it. Bureaucracies have proven themselves to be terrible time and again, but what's the alternative? I doubt many would be happy with alternatives like cooperative enterprises or egalitarian action groups, far too socialist.
