I prefer Real Ale myself I had a lovely afternoon at The Kings Head in Bridgend last Saturday, I went there specially because they have Proper Job on cask there its one of my favourite Ales and at 4.5% its safe to have half a dozen, you can buy it in bottles but its 5.6% and acts like rocket fuel it murders meMy beer of the year 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and to be 2024 is £9.99 for 12x330ml in Lidl.
DJack, jack123 and one or two others might appreciate this.

You’ve done it now. Had my delivery from Oakham Brewery on Thursday 12 bottles of Oakhams CitraYou’ve done it now. I’m now destined to go back to the supermarket before Christmas and pick up a few.
I normally bypass that part of the aisle. Must slow down and pay more attention to these bottles.Had my delivery from Oakham Brewery on Thursday 12 bottles of Oakhams Citra
[they sell it at the Pilot] and 12 bottles of Bishops Farewell was tempted by their Green Devil Pale Ale used to have a couple of those at the Ale House when it was there its a lovely drink, but its 6%, Citra is a pale ale, Bishops is a golden ale and Green Devil an IPA.
Not able to go out today so popped over Tesco first thing to stock up on bottles of Timothy Taylors Landlord's ale, lovely beer.
Got two kegs of Proper Job at 4.6% and one keg of Camden Pale ale coming for my Perfect Draft machine, not had kegs for over 12 months or more so I hope the machine is still working
Not seen Oakhams beers on supermarket shelves to be honest, Welsh Pale, Landlords and Guinness are my usual points of interest, although I've tried other and enjoyed them, but I usually resort back to my usuals.I normally bypass that part of the aisle. Must slow down and pay more attention to these bottles.
