• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Oh and I forgot to say that I tried a bottle or two of Oakhams Bishops Farewell its very nice to, 12 bottles at 5% a bottle for just under 18quid, bargain. :D
Big day tomorrow then, I’m excited for you.

It’s going to be a great drive home.

If you want the real Staropramen - as in the stuff imported from Prague - don't buy the multipack mentioned above.

Go to the main beer aisle in Lidl and look for the 500ml bottles. £1.79 a bottle - bit more expensive, but the proper stuff. Not the shite imitation they make up in Burton.

Thank me later 😉

Merry Xmas 👍🏻
I tried a few bottles of this last night and did a side by side comparison. A definite difference in both smell and taste, but not necessarily for the better.

How have these kegs worked out, Max?

Still on the first one Proper Job, had a couple of hours out yesterday so didn't use it yesterday. Christmas day and boxing day I just had a couple of pints out of it, filled up with food instead.

The proper job is much nicer on cask, used to see it at the Pilot if I went down middle of the week, but not on a Saturday, nice pint of it at the Kings Head Bridgend though.
