A joint statement from Planet Swans & Swansea Independent
Recently, and once again the sniping comments from a few destructive posters who are on both of these sites have been allowed to go. However, this will now stop. If this doesn’t fit in with the posters ( and they know who they are, as we do ) we invite them to leave both our domains immediately. Today these few inadequate people decided to undermine not only Swansea Independent but also to use Planet Swans as a platform for further hatred. Comments which we know they would never make unless they were hiding behind a computer. Both of us, that’s Phil and Keith are very close friends of 25 years, and will not allow a few insignificant posters of little value or less to both websites to continue in this vein.
Both websites have valued and very significant contributors to daily news feeds. To insinuate that any of them, specifically David Cornish are not real is undermining both websites. If anyone has any doubts about both sites and their staff writers then contact us directly, we will deal with it. It’s pathetic and signifies to both of us how poisonous And weak you are to even think in that way. We both state very clearly that everyone who contributes to our thriving websites are known to us and in all cases for many years. We welcome your challenge to this, so we can publicly prove, not only your own identity, but the identity of our staff writers. Over to you.
Phil has worked religiously on his website for well over 20 years, and for people to use his website as a vehicle to undermine other people and their hard work is insulting to him and the many hours he works to bring you Swans news. There’s no other reason you would do that other than to directly attack him personally and his life’s work. Keith runs Swansea Independent, and any finance gained goes to his grandchildren in trust from February 2022. The reason for this is Keith’s daughter is dying from terminal brain cancer, she is 33 with four children, she has worked all her life and will not see her kids grow up. When both of us read your vitriolic and disgusting attempts to cause disruption to Keiths cause by posting your attempts to divide these sites, and Phil’s hard work, it not only upsets both of us greatly, it tells us you are and never will be valued friends, or even worthy of our acknowledgment.
You should be advised that Keith takes this extremely personally, and you can take that any way you like. The many months of vitriol he has had since taking over Swansea Independent ( planet swans as it was ) will never, ever be forgotten.
We are both open and known to you, we are real people, both of us are contactable at any time and by way of any method, including in person, if you haven’t got the moral fibre to speak to us personally, then when we read your anonymous posts it tells us exactly what we are dealing with. And that includes those we know who hide behind their own inadequacies because they have never valued our work. They use our platforms to poison other peoples minds who then in turn jump on the bandwagon because they are no better than the originator. You are pathetic and worthless.
Any more deviation from supporting both our websites, and using them to qualify your ridiculous agenda to divide us as Swansea City supporters and promote hate will meet with immediate bans. There will be no other warnings. After fourteen months of saying it, this is the final word on the matter. You are free to make your move, but be assured you won’t be signing on to both websites, including your numerous other ‘ usernames’ ever again. And through both of us liaising regularly, we do know who you are.
