Was a bit over zealous last night I thought.
It’s not as if there was a big Bristol following, and their fans were two blocks away, yet they still elected to stand on the steps in the stand instead of between the barriers where they usually would be.

I've found the stewarding completely over the top there for years. Full of jobs worth types who will literally pick up on the smallest thing. Going to a game is meant to be made a pleasurable experience ( Russ ball asides) but there is a majority of stewards who are a total pain in the arse.

I didn’t post anything at the time but a couple of games ago - I can’t quite remember the game but it was one of the last three when it was very quiet, the usual season ticket holders around us weren’t there and a group of young lads asked if we could move up a couple of seats so that they could sit together. No problems with us so we scootched up.

Within 3 minutes the stewards were up asking to see their tickets and made them move and then did spot checks asking random people within the block (even families) to see tickets.

i am a season ticket holder in the EAST a few seats away from the drum. They check your ticket most game days on the steps but when we played Cardiff no checks at all. they very game everbody wants to be down there. imbeciles

Bizarre wasn’t it. I’m further round the corner. We get searched for every other game - even if there’s only a handful of away fans tucked over in their first block.

There are some idiots and I suspect far more pissed people than in other parts of the ground. But you feel like you’re being treated like criminals half the time.
