• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Nothing changes in SA1. The #Swans hunt for a new manager continues and shows no sign of an immediate end. Our owners continue to stumble around making hard work of everything

Assuming we don't appoint a manager today or tomorrow, it would seem unlikely that we'll manage to get anyone in over the festive period and certainly not to allow them sufficient time to work with the squad properly.

So that'll be 4 games over Christmas, 3 games since Duff was sacked = 7 games without a manager (15% of a season) just before a crucial transfer window that we really should be prepared for.

It's an absolute circus.

Circus is how to view it. Excitement, boredom, high acrobatics, low tumbles, donkeys (poetic licence) and clowns. It's the nature of sport. We are on an inexorable decline now, a doom loop, no real point in fighting it, unless we get very, very lucky (again). It happens all the time, we are heading back where we came from. If we are all still going, in not many years time we will be playing Brentford and Cardiff, Luton and Watford in League 2 again. Nothing special about this club any more. Stardust tossed away by greed.

Merry Christmas.

Its a shambles mate, even if we get someone in before the TW, he ain't going to be given any funds.
No wonder no one wants to touch us.

Its like their waiting for fans across the online forums and twitter to start seeing Nathan Jones as an acceptable option.

Not going to happen. Sleepwalking to disaster.

We're going to lose Patino and a couple others in Jan and we aren't going to be able to replace them. No one of any real quality is going to come here while we don't have a proper manager. Disgrace.

Exactly. Keep Sheehan, go on an awful run over Christmas, get knocked out of the FA Cup and hope that the fans will be on their knees begging for Jones.
