• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Credit where it's due if this is true then well done to the club for getting this done quickly.

Nice to see.
I know we have been after him for a while.
Hope Duff was consulted as the manager may not have been in the past.

"We have a right back we have been tracking."
"Do we have any right backs right now?"

I imagine the conversation being something like this
If Duff didn't have someone in mind specifically lined up then not tearing up our scouting reports is the best way to start off.

Exeter did the double over Barnsley last season and Key played in both games so it is probably fair to say that he was at least aware of him.

Not being argumentative here, and I’m sure Duff would have to sign off on any incoming transfer, but I thought the whole set up of the club was to take player sourcing and recruitment away from the manager.

It nominally is, but maybe they've learnt from Mesa, Gyokeres, Areola, Ogbeta, Burns, Whittaker etc....
