It felt right at the time that the summer window got the praise it deserved as we headed into the new season and the window shut at the beginning of September.

That's a fair assessment.
In the summer it did seem as if we were identifying our problem area etc.
Most names were unknown though, so it was down to hope that we were going to play at a press and tempo.
The word potential was used many times and it's been discussed many times where people think the problems are.
Reality is setting in, and I have posted at other times that each on their own do offer something, but when we need a jigsaw to be complete I do think that the plan has fallen down.
So the recruitment must be highlighted as much as current tactics. Do players have the mental and physical strength for this league?
