• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Rain looks unlikely in Kingstown, Saint Vincent. But you never know, a big squall may blow through. If not then we’re all rooting for Afghanistan, right?

After beating Australia by 21 runs I'm pretty sure they won't be praying for rain tonight against Bangladesh.
It’s the inconsistency that kills these teams. World beaters one day, lose to real minnows the next. Confidence will be high though, hopefully that can carry them through.

Well this is dramatic. Bangladesh need nine from eight balls. Afghanistan need one wicket to qualify for the semis and put the Aussies out.

Incredible stuff, a bizarre game of cricket.

Bangladesh could have gone through themselves with a win inside 13 overs.

Well done Afghanistan, kept their nerve, and great to see them in the semis. They could have lost it to the rain and the DLS par score, but kept taking wickets.

Linton Das must have been gutted for Bangladesh - carrying his bat through the innings and watching 3 /1st ballers up the other end!!

Thank fuk for that the horrible little twat!
I did enjoy his attempt the other day to paint himself as the victim somehow in relation to the ball tampering. Up there with Ponting as the worst kind of Aussie, love to give it out but fall to pieces when it comes back at them.

Needless to say that Afghanistan will be a little bit gutted with that performance. It would have taken some effort to beat Australia and South Africa in consecutive matches, but getting knocked over for 56 also wasn’t part of the plan.

Especially winning the toss and batting first - but 23/5 after 5 overs was game over.

Apparently there is bad weather about and the worry is for a washout, if this happens or they fail to complete the match the Indians go through to the final because they topped thier group, there is  no reserve day! How can they not factor in a reserve day for the knockout stages of a tournament this important, absolutely ridiculous.
