Pace. England haven’t had this for years and it’s vital down under.

Slight favourites to win the test now. But for them to win ashes they need the quicks to stay fit

Listened to most of it on Test Match Special which was amazing. For me listenibg to the Test commentary is better than watching it TV.

TMS has been brilliant listening for many, many years. When I was working it would be on whenever I was driving, usually hours every day. Not just for the cricket commentary but for all the “banter and chat” .

While waiting for the Test to start later I will put the TMS commentary on from earlier today of the Aussie innings. BBC Sounds is great for listening again.

Oz now doing a Bazball in their run chase.

Six ducks across both England innings tells the story. Two of them coming from a certain Zak Crawley.

Different approach from the Aussies, we're f@cked here unfortunately
It very much looks like. This is controlled agression, without the loose shots of our innings. This could turn into a very heavy defeat if we don’t break this up quickly.

England batted for a total 67 overs for two innings in a ‘test’ match? That’s truly pathetic.
