• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Quickly, plant some sandpaper in the Aussie bowlers’ trouser pockets and get them all banned and the series declared null and void.

Jesus. Even by the “standards” they’ve set, that was truly pathetic. Seventy odd for one mind.

82/1.!!!

Well done the Aussies 👏, only the weather prevented a 5-0 whitewash.

First the Euro's nailed on to win, now the Ashes 😂 😂

A gutless performance in that second innings. At this rate the series in the Windies is going to be a test.

Pathetic again, apart from Root and Wood (maybe Broad) the rest showed their true colours, they didn't want to be there.
It started with certain players and management threatening to withdraw from the tour (an Ashes tour mind) if they couldn't take their family along! WTF was that all about. And before anyone says two months is a long time to be away from your family it's thier job, and a well paid job to boot. I don't see many players wanting to take the family along when they tour India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, also the same players are happy to go solo when chasing the cash in the BBL and IPL.

Blame covid, blame lack of preparation (it was the same for the Aussies) but the truth is most of the England players couldn't care less about Test cricket let alone County cricket, its all about the white ball, its all about the cash.

Clasey’s fault. Giving everyone hope.

Guilty. From 60-0 when I got up to 124 all out just over two hours later. I mean, come on. So many heads need to roll among those who got us into this abject mess.

West Indies aren’t a bad team at all these days. I don’t hold out much hope for that series either.

Root “we’re better than that”. No you’re not. Until you accept you’re not you’re going nowhere. Top down, the whole structure and “management” needs to be ripped out and replaced by competent people.

Root is a nice likeable guy, but he’s got his head up his arse. I suppose he could say nothing else. He needs to bat and let someone else take the poisoned chalice. I like him. Just bat mush.

The whole side needs a shake up......but who is to come in?
Anderson is 39, Broad 36.......but who else is challenging them?

Saying that Ireland have just beaten the Windies 2-1 in a three match ODI series 😳
