The best trip ever

I was on the half way line, in with the home fans with my mate, I don't do heights and he had a bad back. Incredible, absolutely incredible. Before the game we only shared a bottle of wine and I remember everything so vividly. When home fans starting drifting out, passing us in our seats they were shaking our hands saying "muy bien" (very good). Amazing game, and then after, us two drinking with 8 or 9 of their fans in a bar opposite our hotel until the early hours.

Fantastic memories.

Wasn't at Valencia and was only a few days old for Preston, but my fav away days oddly enough are both 0-0s.

The first one was Birmingham on a freezing cold new year's game in 2008. They were top of the table, but got booed off half time and full time because they couldn't get the ball off us. We should have won but Scotland had an off day and their keeper was excellent. But we were brilliant. Allen and Britton ran the game.

The other one was Anfield under Brendan in our first PL season. Again we should have won, but Reina was brilliant and we left our shooting boots at home. We got applauded off the pitch by the home supporters. Never been more proud of Swans than that day. Many say that got Brendan the Liverpool job.

Preston away August 1986. 17 yrs old, the whole world still out there. That day lives strong in my memory. It wasnt even about the game, which we lost. Just an awesome day from start to finish with a diversion on the way home, to Blackpool Pleasure beach, courtesy of FOSCFA.

the same Reina made some fantastic saves in the second leg at Napoli. Taking heed of the problems Arsenal fans faced at Napoli in being taken to the stadium in buses we went independently to the stadium, saw no trouble and enjoyed a lovely pizza and red wine after the game in a restaurant opposite our hotel.

I remember when almost the whole stadium stood up and applauded that free kick.

Was just near the swans dugout at the mestalla, went with a friend, we had a few scoops beforehand and my mate dragged me into a hairdresser next to our hotel and we attended the game with orange blond hair , hadn't laughed so much in years. At the game I chatted to the home fans around us, no problem at all even even I leapt up at michus goal, superb trip.
