• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I like this show, and I quite like Bradley Walsh, but I hate it when Brad says "great answer". It's not, it's the right answer.

That's a bit harsh on the great, very quick-witted Bradley Walsh. Usually he says "great answer" when the answer is correct but i 's also obscure. Like when a contestant doesn't know the answer but has deduced it by using his / her knowledge of Latin or whatever. I think it's my favourite quiz show but The Wall and The Wheel are beginning to grow on me.

The bit that gets on my bosoms in 'The Chase' is when some plank gets £1k or £2k in the cash builder and Bradley says "you're a better player than that".
OK, I admit that nerves might be playing a big part, and Bradley is trying to be nice, but by and large it's because they ain't very bright.

Some weeks ago whist watching the Mastermind / Celebrity edition of the show I totally outscored the unknown to me , contestant and star in the General Knowledge round .

My reaction , whist being on a tea break with workmates watching the progamme then must have appeared like I had lifted the FA Cup .

Only Connect , try my best but way out of my depth , that level of thinking to solve the clues and well done to the teams , way above me .

When playing for big money in the final chase, who's to say the chaser isn't given his questions in order to save ITV a few quid ?

I don't mind the chase, but for me it very highly favoured towards the chaser, very rare the contestants actually beat them!

Like even when there are 4 contestants left, what do they get a 4 head start? Well, that's
rubbish before you even start, think of how long it takes each 4 contestants to realise none of them know the answer, I have watched programmes where a four man team, one individual passes as soon as the question is spoken, what a joke!!

Now Beat the Chasers, that's a better game.
