• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Think I’ll start watching it Saturday, should be a great day of sports, Swans on early, then maybe watch the Premier League games, should take me up nicely to the evening session of darts, I must admit I’m quite looking forward to seeing Luke Littler entering the fray. 👍

Then after the darts, there will be a little bit of boxing with Tyson Fury 🥊
Will have an early start myself on Saturday. Brekky out somewhere before our game, then around to my mates for our traditional pre Christmas ham night, all in front of the darts and the boxing. Nice to have a few days wind down before Wednesday.

Enjoy 🥳

I’ve got to be honest, when I first looked at your reply, I thought you were going to some sort of eating different kinds of ham night.

I thought bloody hell, I’ve never heard of that, but google told me then, it’s an American phrase for a pee up? Learn something new everyday. Anyway enjoy Coops. 👍🥳🤪

American phrases, I'm pissed off with predictive text putting realize and marginalized.. I got a South Korean phone, America are slowly taking over the world.. Halloween, prom night.. knowing coops though, it wouldn't surprise me if he actually put a ham in the oven so he can eat it with bread sauce, branston pickle and pickled onions.. bloody philistine

Hmm this boxing match, seems a little feisty. Bloody state on fury by here, I now it may be all be for the cameras, but IMO this is just poor from Fury.

😂😂 You were right the first time. It’s nothing more complicated than a few drinks to wash down a nice glazed ham joint, some slaw and a few other bits and bobs. Have done it for a good few years now, rotating houses each year. Normally happens a bit earlier in the month but I’ve not been here, hence it’s Saturday. I’ve got no idea what ‘American ham night’ is either!

See my post above. No bread sauce though, that’s for Christmas Day.

Fingers crossed for you then, Max. Crimbo off, little week of work in early January then your weekend away. I hope it works out.

We’re thinking of venturing out for an afternoon of debauchery on Sunday, should we consider Mumbles? Don’t get down that way much.

I went for Sunday dinner at the new On the Rocks restaurant.. it was ok, never worth £30 for a 2 course and a drink.. it's £6+ a pint down there now

If you are going to Mumbles then travel down past Singleton hospital and turn right at the bottom. It’s the best way to avoid the queues. Best of luck getting back though.

Due to these roadworks?
