The Darts

I went for Sunday dinner at the new On the Rocks restaurant.. it was ok, never worth £30 for a 2 course and a drink.. it's £6+ a pint down there now
Have you been in The George recently? I know a few folk who have said that the food is decent these days.

If you are going to Mumbles then travel down past Singleton hospital and turn right at the bottom. It’s the best way to avoid the queues. Best of luck getting back though.
I’m supposed to go to Singleton tomorrow to pick meds up for Amy.
What’s the traffic like?

Yes, you may be lucky and catch a break, but leaving Mumbles during morning rush hour the queue can stretch back to the White Rose from the road works.
Early evening on the last Sunday before Christmas should be ok though, Shirley?

Ah, yes probably. Just to add to the chaos there have been floods outside the Woodman too. 😳
Ok, I have 36 hours to ponder this big decision.

Meanwhile it’s back to the darts. Mickey Mansell up first this evening.

They're queuing past our house (Derwen Fawr Road) every morning in an attempt to beat the congestion which isn't working.
I recommend retirement.

Bloody awful, go up over Townhill and drop down through Sketty, that be busier than normal, but surely better than Mumbles Rd of go through Tycoch past the College and through the lights at the square carryon and you'll bare to the left and come to a junction turn left there and carry on towards Sketty crossroads then turn left at the top before road drops down into the Sketty crossroads and just follow that road all the way down straight to Singleton.

You’ve had a lucky escape my friend.

Worked in Sketty today, but bypassed that place, my mate works for Wales & West, they found a leak which they repaired and then a more vigilant engineer found a much bigger one, so it was decided to replace 650 meters of the pipework, not due to finish until end of January, maybe later if weather is bad or another issue appears.
