The Hundred

Anyone got a mental image of Max glued to his chair living and breathing every ball ,watching this awful format of cricket whilst everyone else is doing their own thing?

I didn't watch it all, missed a fair bit in between the both innings, I got other things to do mind :D

Another boring game.

It turned into another damp squib yes, massive total to chase down though, so they had to go for it and it cost them wickets of their key batters.

Fair play Max, I was having a few stubbies outside whilst cursing Glammy's narrow defeat

Cracking game on Tea time tonight, I came in from work and Oval Invincibles were 21/3 chasing 158 to win, then San Curran started to swing the bat, cracking finish to the game, best game of the Hundred so far this season.

You're looking to match into the tournament, you made your mind up it was cack from its ignoration last year. Mun

ECB is certainly the right name for you, you're a Vol-au-vents and Pims man sitting on a balcony at Lords cravat and all, come on the chaps get out there on the square and keep a straight bat and bat all day for 54 runs

 Proper cricket fan me mush. Test, 50 over and 20 over in that order. And I can take or leave the last one to be honest. Seriously though the Hundred may not be for me, I don’t see the point of it, the format changes are a waste of time and confusing and they could have spent the money making the Blast the tournament it should be rather than sidelining it to the start of the summer. But the crowds are good and it’s on free TV so anything like that is good for cricket even though it’s cack. It won’t last though. Be gone within five years.

Coverage should be on BBC3......Crappy cricket replacing Flog It...the arseholes.....tip to BBC2...do NOT mess around with Flog It viewers by replacing it with bullshit sport like the 100 and Commonwealth Games...we are a militant bunch...

I can't see it lasting either to be honest, think the idea behind it is to broaden the attraction for Cricket generally, get more people playing and watching.
Hopefully it has encouraged more people to take a further interest in the game overall in all its guises.

I watched today's game......yes there was an unlikely winner in the end but I just don't think it's going to stay. Poor dropped catch at the end and it didn't seem to matter.
It all seems a bit forced and cricket for the sake of cricket.
