Before I say anything, I have absolutely no clue about rugby what so ever, but I just saw that there’s a possibility of the Ospreys merging with Ealling. What’s that all about?

Won't happen.

The Ospreys will in all likelihood not exist in a few years time.

I don’t think so either.
Swansea goes ,they might as well all pack it in.

They'll always exist. even if its not under the WRU, but it'll be the WRU that'll suffer, they have consistently produced players for Wales.

That's not gonna happen, I tell you that now.

There'll be two regions soon enough, and the Ospreys won't be one of them.

There is a rumour about merging with Ealing trailfinders. But what the Wru really wants is to get rid of one region,so they can fund more money to the others .something like as follows:Cardiff would have to stay as its a capital city team.Scarlets would have to stay as it covers west and North Wales and its the one s4c likes showing for the welsh speakers.Newport Dragons is owned by the Wru in the main,so they would be kept as a feeder team and development region. And as for the Ospreys they can go ,Swansea and surrounding area is shafted again.
I doubt if anyone form the region will support the Scarlets.

How do you know???

Anyway they'll still exist, 100%

Still be a shocking decision to discard them though, they are the only true region 100%

Scarletsssssss and that lot in Cardiff are bully boys who have consistently had their own way, WRU have always been intimidated by them. With Walker and Evans now controlling things that'll never change, they'll be the poorer for it if the Ospreys do go.

" I doubt if anyone form the region will support the Scarlets."

Correct, absolutely no chance.

I don't know for certain, but it'll happen alright.

The WRU are an old boys club, the players had their chance to smash it up this week but they bottled it. You've just eluded to the Cardiff carve up in your post, there is no way they get rid of either Cardiff or Scarlets, they don't give a fuck about Swansea, and only an owning interest in Newport.

There may well end up being an Ospreys side, but they'll be playing in Division 46 West. We will be down to two regions soon enough.

They'll end up going across the Bridge to play and will excel hopefully and fuk the WRU.

I really enjoy the Welsh Premiership, the last bastion of the games spirit in this country.

They wouldn’t be the Ospreys then though, they’d be the Ealing Eagles or something 😂

There is a welsh rugby podcast called the attacking scrum.Last Sundays episode talks about it ,if anyone is interested.

Nah, I couldn't watch another Region, even though I watch 95% of the Ospreys games on the Tele I've just got no connection with any other region.
