Have sat through all episodes on I player.
Whilst Coogan is incredible, its sickening that the bbc have succeeded in again covering up those who covered up while telling the story of this creature.

I watched that, followed immediately by The Long Shadow on ITV +1.
Both were very uncomfortable viewing. Maybe because I have lived through the complete era depicted in the dramas and recognised the events, and even more the attitudes and mores depicted in both. I agree that Coogan is brilliant, as are all the other actors who have contributed.
I believe, or at least I hope, that we have moved on a little as a society. I hope young people watching would have been shocked and appalled by the attitudes demonstrated towards women in particular.

Thers no doubt an opportunity has been missed making this, the bbc have deflected and batted away any blame on the people that knew.
Fckn disgraceful, but not surprising.

I’m not disagreeing with your general point and I’ve only watched episode one so far so you’ll know more than me about how the other episodes go, but worth pointing out that the BBC didn’t make this, it was made by ITV Studios for broadcast on the BBC.

Point taken, but the fact of covering up still remains no matter who made it. The victims want justice, and those who knew and still alive must be held accountable. But who knows how deep this cover up actually goes.
Letby was found out, but there are others accountable behind the scenes being chased up who did nothing .

Not going to disagree with any of that. This is wroth a read it you haven’t seen it before.
