Clasey I'm sure will have better insight than me, and I know that there are certain rules that Hoyle is bound by, but is it just me that thinks he's useless?

Today he yet again allowed Johnson to refer to the SNP as the Nationalist party. He's like a supply teacher who has no authority

To be fair he didn’t have any choice given the ridiculous rules which essentially mean that it’s fine to lie in Parliament (as long as you don’t get caught) but it’s against the rules to call someone a liar even when they’ve obviously been found out lying as blatantly as Johnson is regularly. It’s mental.

I agree, not strong enough, but I thought his speech last week was magnifique (if that is the right spelling )
