• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Clasey I'm sure will have better insight than me, and I know that there are certain rules that Hoyle is bound by, but is it just me that thinks he's useless?

Today he yet again allowed Johnson to refer to the SNP as the Nationalist party. He's like a supply teacher who has no authority

He likes the sound of his own voice. He was totally wrong in asking the SNP leader to leave the other day.

Last week he told someone he would ring their mother!

What a boy

To be fair he didn’t have any choice given the ridiculous rules which essentially mean that it’s fine to lie in Parliament (as long as you don’t get caught) but it’s against the rules to call someone a liar even when they’ve obviously been found out lying as blatantly as Johnson is regularly. It’s mental.

They are ridiculous rules. I can't wait to see Blackford have his day in the sun when Johnson gets the shepherds crook.

It’s a crazy system which sets so much store on emphasising that ministers misleading Parliament is a cardinal sin which must end in resignation yet it happens literally on an hourly basis with no recourse. Yet someone pointing it out gets flung out cos it’s against the rules.

Have you read Peter Oborne's Assault on the Truth book?

No but I do like the phrase “moral barbarism”.

It's very heavy on footnotes, but a good read nevertheless

Hes a bit biased that's for sure, hes stepped in a few times just as Johnson is about to see the red mist appear, and really make a fool of himself, he's weak,

He couldn't be any weaker that Starmer, you'd get more anger and passion out of a soggy lettuce ffs.

I agree, not strong enough, but I thought his speech last week was magnifique (if that is the right spelling :D )
