• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Cooper claims we're desperate for an out and out number nine and that we have no money.

In that case, why is he not criticising the club's decision to blow our entire transfer budget on a winger who we will end up shoehorning into the striking position we desperately need to fill?

You’re expecting him to go on record and criticise the chairman and owners? That’s rather naive, Richard.

Has he? I’ve not heard what he’s said but I would call open criticism of his employers as naive.

Why spend £800,000 on Lowe who seems to be a lightweight Ayew?
Did they expect Ayew to move on?
Surely that money should have been spent on an out and out striker?

     return of the turd R.C>

We’ll sign a winger on permanent for small fee, and a striker on loan, my guess would be Gyokeres. He said there was no money before we signed Lowe aswell.

My worry would be our pursuit of Brewster may have been disrupted our progress with other targets.

Personally I don’t think there has ever been a realistic chance of a Brewster return, he was always either to be sold on or kept on at Liverpool. Our inability to move Ayew and his astronomical wages on is strangling the club financially, why we bought Lowe in is anyone’s guess 🤷🏻‍♂️ But without any realistic goal threat, this league will crucify your chances of any success, both Cooper & Birch knew this, the writing is on the wall I’m afraid...
