Not sure about 1968 but the were definitely there in 1976, so was I.

Alex Harvey Band as support , up to that particular day had not seen an act like them .

Sat in the old centre stand watching in awe . It was 1976 too .

Going slightly off topic I was talking to,how shall we say ‘people’ in America a couple of months ago and a 1963 Guild Merle Travis guitar came up in conversation.
Apparently there was only three ever made and it’s pretty rare.
Pete Townshend owns one and Rick Nielsen owns one,nobody knows where the third one is and if it was found and went to auction it would probably go for over $2million.
