1974 we played Kettering in the cup at the Vetch. David Essex was playing in the Brangwyn Hall. A group of girls ran up to us asking for directions - they were late for the concert so we thought it would be a laugh to send them running in the wrong direction. Felt guilty ever since!

I remember that was on, ummed and arred and decided against in the end.

Was more attracted by the support bands, SAHB and Streetwalker (with Roger Chapman) if I remember right.

SAHB were great as were the amazing Little Feat.

First time I had ever sat in the Centre Stand that day , always been North Bank / Upper Double Decker .

Sensational Alex Harvey Band were outstanding .

Faith Healer is up there with the greatest songs of all time.

Alex Harvey Band also do a dark version of Delilah .

Supposedly it is the way it should it should have been performed , albeit Tom made it his own .

Agreed.

I don’t suppose “Gang Bang” gets many plays on the radio these days...
