Why was their keeper time wasting at 1-0 down - were they on damage limitation ?

Probably thinking their best chance was to keep it to 1-0 and hope to snatch a goal on the break or from a set piece.

Giving his outfield players a chance to catch their breath also maybe? They had to do a lot of chasing once they were a man down.

Referee was crap at handling it and the game as a whole. He's lucky we won after somehow missing that handball.

He also went down with cramp towards the end, similiar to as they do in a cup final

Very strange individual

Agreed, it was very odd game management.

He was one of a few of their players with, imo, a very poor attitude and poorly behaved. Very unprofessional and a bad reflection on their club.

He played in the Wycombe side that was well known for it in their one season in the Championship, then left on a free to Derby for last season and is now battling relegation again with Cardiff.

That was one of the funniest instances of time wasting that I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t work out if they were trying to protect a one nil defeat or if they were hoping that we’d lose our composure so they could nick something? We didn’t even get out of second gear though.

I think the idea was hang on to 1-0 until 80 mins or so and then bring on subs and give it a shot. The second goal killed that.

Referees have to stop all this stuff. He started even before the sending off!

Was the general consensus around me. We do have a mistake in us and it probably made sense to try and take some of the sting out of the game and hope to sneak an equaliser.

After our 2nd goal, someone near me shouted "try time wasting time now, you pink prick!" Childish, I know, but I it did make me laugh at the time.
