• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

My initial fears that he was favouring Cardiff were unfounded when he decided to let everything go for both sides, this could have been a recipe for disaster in a more edgy contest.

However, in a contrast to our game against Scunthorpe where we first cane across him many years ago and lost our composure resulting in players being sent off and Sousa waiting to fight him as we lost control, today our players took the game by the scruff and man handled, wrestled, cheated to Cardiff’s level and got on with the game.

Excellent game management by the team in my opinion.

I still think he was poor and he shit out of two good penalty shouts but he was poor for both sides.

First one was definitely a penalty.

The one on Smith in the second was definitely not a penalty.

Great win though :D

They've won 16 out of 19 or somthing like that when he's reffed them.
They were that shit he couldn't even help them.

I thought the ref was an utter dick in the Scunthorpe match. Took my late father to that match and we were sat right down by the dugout.
Sousa was actually immense. Constantly rearranging his very limited side as the ref went about his dirty work.
Agree with your last point. We were immense both as management and a team.

The bent fucker made us put either Dobbie or Besian back on injured so the game didn't get abandoned.

the foul that he didnt give on bidwell was fcuking, one of their giant girls literally slam dunked him to the floor ffs

I thought he was waiting for guidance from the linesman for the early penalty decision as he was closer and had a better view of it. The linesman didn't say anything so he gave a corner.

Both penalty shouts were definitely penalties.

He let them get away with alot early doors but then we started roughing them up which made it easier for him to ref.
