• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

This has been such an annoyance to me over the years - and I have lost count of the number of times I have had a meltdown because of.....
Players negligently conceding corners and throw ins that cost you goals, because they are too knuckle headed to understand the impending danger.
Burgess Cabango and Tymon are all serial offenders, as is Ronald. Giving teams who are long throw and set piece specialists the opportunity to get the ball in the mixer when there is absolutely no need.
Enter last nights clown show - our own Liam Cullen. WTF was he doing? knocking the ball out for a corner when there was absolutely no need. As soon as that corner was conceded, my buddies and I all looked at each other and knew 100% what was going to happen next.
So many examples over the years - but Liam excelled himself last night with that one!

Hmmm, mind you, someone might have tried to defend the actual corner. That kind of annoys me more.

To be fair to Cullen the ball came to him quick after some poor defending to others. Also the goal was coming. Yes Cullen is hot and cold. But taking Dan James off didn't help. And we road our luck at times. I'm more concerned how poor our penalties was.
