Dhanda surely has to be seen as surplus to requirements at the moment, he failed to find a spot in 2 years under Cooper and given several chances by RM including against lower league cup opposition and he has never once stamped his authority on a game the way you need your creative midfielder to.
Grimes splits opinion, he will normally give you a 7 or 8 out of 10 every game but every now and then he will have an absolute stinker. When he is in form his corner deliveries are excellent (though he should never be allowed to take direct free kicks), that said however I do feel that he and Downes are the same kind of player and if we did end up selling him I wouldn't be as upset as I would be if we didn't have Downes.
Bidwell I had thought would adapt well to the style of football that RM wants but he very rarely seems to make those bombing runs that he did under Cooper at the moment. He also has next to no ability to take a man on to create space so that could be a mark against him and the kind of wingback that RM wants. I feel that Manning would do this job better but he has been too important being the level head in central defence to afford to put him out wide. If RM gets the ball playing experienced defender that he is looking for then I can see Bidwell departing and Manning switching out wide with Lyesham (I think thats the spelling) as his understudy.
Like above I would have thought that Lowe would have had more success in this system, but 3-5-2 demands clever movement from the strikers rather than balls played down the channels and a pace merchant to beat the defender to the ball. I am not sure that he has the movement or the subtle touch needed to make a place alongside Piroe his own.
Kyle Joseph impressed me in the highlights of the Plymouth game and I would be quite disappointed to see him go out on loan when we are still having trouble finding the right partner for Piroe. Cullen has struggled to have a meaningful impact (one delightful flick to set up Piroe today aside) so far, which means unless we bring someone in then we need to look closer at Joseph and Whittaker as potential partners.
Williams I don't see going out on loan, he is pretty closely involved in and around the first team at the moment, the same with Cooper (unless you are referring to Oli Cooper in which case yes I can see him going on loan and it being the right call in his case).
