The Swansea City Supporters’ Trust is delighted to welcome Luka Modrić as a new co-owner of Swansea City Football Club as they announced earlier HERE

Having one of the greatest midfielders of all time – a Ballon d’Or winner and global football icon – involved in Swansea is extraordinary and we hope it helps usher in a new era of success for the club.

Luka’s track record at very highest level speaks for itself, and it’s encouraging to have someone with his experience and footballing insight taking an active interest in the club’s future.

It will help boost the club’s profile and we hope the club takes full advantage of his knowledge and extensive network to open up opportunities – both on and off the pitch – that wouldn’t have been possible before.

We look forward to working constructively with Luka, as we do with all co-owners, to ensure the best possible future for the club and its supporters.
