You've posted a video you don't like of a song you're not keen on? Is there something of significance I'm missing and am I just being dim?

I didn’t post the video, I just commented on it. 😉

Ah, right, I am just being dim then, I thought that was the most likely outcome. Shouldn't post so early in the morning before I'm fully functional!

Spotted Krokus on Darran’s post earlier on the Kerrang poster in the Meatloaf thread and I had heard this on Planet Rock earlier. When it was introduced I was of the opinion that a Beatles song shouldn’t be messed with. I listened to it and thought, as a one off, taken as a song it was OK. Probably more of a cry for help than the upbeat original.
Thoughts!

Not as good as the original though.👍

Happy Birthday. 81 years young.

Saw them at Shepherds Bush on that tour. Very tenuous link for tonight’s game

After tonight’s transfer deadline the title of this song might be relevant.
Fabulous song and performance.

Hmmm, Krokus, interesting choice! Never thought I'd see them mentioned on a Swans forum! Lead singer, Marc Storace, is an old mate of mine and he was 70 in October but he's still gigging. Before joining Krokus, he used to front a band in London, called Eazy Money in the late 70s & early 80s. Here's a demo of one of their songs. (BTW, yours truly on keyboards!)

BTW, to answer you question, Marc has always had a fantastic voice IMO and I always liked his take on this song.

This song was inspired by the events of this day in 1959.
Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and “The Big Bopper” JP Richardson we’re killed in a plane crash.
