Monet are a chaotic Swansea-based quartet that specialises in noisy yet danceable outsider music. Inspired by artists like Pom Poko, Tropical Fuck Storm and John Coltrane, Monet has been making waves with their unique blend of jazz embellished art rock that combines strange musical concepts with catchy melodies, weird grooves and lyricism charred by their Swansea sense of humour.

Saw them in 2010 at a Teenage Cancer Trust gig at The Royal Albert Hall. Musicianship (especially JPJ) was amazing.
