Gentle Sunday morning tune again. Band is Iona, singer is Joanne Hogg. First heard her voice in the early 90s and was gobsmacked at its purity. Still not heard anyone better 30 years later. She left the band in 2013 to become whatever the modern day equivalent of a missionary is. With a voice like that, she was irreplaceable so the band ceased to be but I still get email updates from her.

Funnily enough couldn't find the original with a decent pic on it only record sleeve. Wouldn't say ruined it but no way near as good as the original Bonita Taylor has a belting voice. Nice to know someone else who remembers this.

I think I bought it on 12". I had to go and find it on YouTube after you posted and put it on repeat. Several remixes on there. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks J2J. In my humble opinion, one of the best songs ever recorded ever which never fails to send a shiver down my spine. I posted the original official video version somewhere on this very thread a few months back but always nice to see it return
