• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I suppose FIFA/UEFA will have to grant this (debatable whether a delay would be of use mind you).

But then I suppose it's possible our semi v Austria could be moved to the same date in the interest of fairness? Giving both finalist's same amount of time to prepare in same window.

How long a delay is feasible though?

I count 15 players who played for Ukrainian clubs in their last squad

When is the next time they are going to be able to get those players together?

Honestly football is so trivial at the moment, but surely they are better off just withdrawing?

Solidarity and sympathy with the people of Ukraine is a given.

As this is a football forum its reasonable to ask a football question.

In the event of Scotland v Ukraine being postponed, would it suit wales more to postpone as well, and play at the same time, or play Austria as scheduled and wait for the result of the other semi?

To see who Austria will have to play?

Better for us to play when scheduled but surely both semi's would have to be postponed or whoever wins our semi final would get a long break and far more time to prepare. Unless they make is play a friendly or something, but that's not the same as a competitive semi final

Personally if the Scottish game is postponed I would rather ours was as well.

I think it would be more beneficial to have the two games relatively close together rather than trying to warm up with a relatively pointless friendly at another time.

Although there is swings and roundabouts I guess

I think the Russian national team has a fairly empty schedule at the moment

Aye Scots v Ukraine definitely postponed (and therefore the final should we get there). But no confirmation yet that our semi final v Austria is off. The Athletic (although they called Austria Australia) say that game will still go ahead as planned on Thursday 24th.

But assuming we win that the fate will be delayed... ;)

The fate being Wales nearly making it but not quite? I'm fully battle hardened on that one. No hope will be penetrating this carapace.

Austria game goes ahead as planned, final delayed until June.

And theres a friendly the Tuesday after (against Scotland if we lose v Austria).
