• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

We’re on a roll.

Last couple of games has really taken me back. We haven't seen a Swans team playing like this in years, not since Laudrup went out the building. Potter tried but this squad is better than he had in my opinion. When was the last time we saw this level of excitement down the .com two games running?

People go on about us not being ready to mount a playoff challenge, the thing is when will we be ready? Do you think for one minute Piroe will be here past the end of this season if he continues like this and we don't get promoted. He's gonna blow McBurnie's tally right out of the water. And Patterson, is he going to be here next season in the Championship if he continues like this. Fat bloomin chance! Are we sure Martin will be here if he does well but doesn't take us up. While we're in this division, we'll be rebuilding every close season. So judging by that, we'll never be ready. Let's accept that if we at any point get promoted we're not going to be ready. We just have to trust that the Yanks will find their wallet if such an eventuality comes about. It was out last time we were there just that they had an idiot signing the cheques.

Some great points there. Heaven forbid I'd say Brentford are the benchmark, but thers a little recent lesson to be learned with them. Frank stayed and built something and its working. Now if we can keep RM I'm starting to think exactly the same could happen here. We've done it before with Brenda, and fck me we should actually still be in the PL.
Why are some so quick to think that P and P will leave at end of season? Early days, but something is brewing here, and they'll probably wanna a piece of it.

Not sure we thought we were ready to go up last time but if it comes, it comes.

Time to not get carried away. Until we win 3 zip at St Andrews or the St Trillions or whatever it is called these days

Totally agree. As with most things in life and especially sport you need to seize the opportunity when it presents itself. A plan is fine, but it is only something to be reviewed on a regular basis and adapted. As you mention there is no certainty of the current players / management team being around next season, so let's makes the most of them. If we do get into the play offs and get promoted then what's the worst that can happen ... we're back in the Championship the following season, probably with a few million to spare ... happy days :D

Enjoy the lakes

Cheeky so and so 😡
No you are spot on Ed.
The last two performances are the result of what RM has been preaching since day one
When I watched them at Blackburn and Reading and even Brighton you could see what was coming.
Can only get stronger
I know you hate the B word but think we are this season's Brentford in the making

Aye, we could be that team who excites when they play whilst getting results Ged, yes we will have a few more bumps along the way but the ride is going to be enjoyable.

Couldn’t get there last night but tickets for Brum have just landed on the mat and it can’t come soon enough
