What breed of dog was it..?

As far as being convicted, it doesn’t really matter in this case what kind of breed it is as it will have been ‘dangerously out of control’ . Dog will almost inevitably be destroyed, what will happen to the owners will depend on the circumstances of the case , whether the kid did anything to rile it, whether there’d been any provocation of the dog, etc, whether there was any history of violence and there’d been a contingency destruction order eg.

That’s where the breed of the dog comes into it, if it is a dangerous or banned dog, they’ll go to prison.

Always hate doing these cases, as a dog lover, they’re horrible either way

The dog was destroyed by armed police at the scene I believe.

I put a link up this afternoon from WOL about said dog, weighed in at just over 8st on described by his previous owner as "a beast"

This is why it takes some time, as the police will need to build a proper case as to whether or not these ads are legit, mobiles seized, enquiries with Vets’s etc, to see what they knew or suspected,
