    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

What would you accept this year, assuming that we revert back to ‘The Swansea Way’

  • Playoffs - Cooper’s achievements must be matched

  • Mid-table mediocrity - a solid finish in the middle of the table - about the same amount of wins as

    Votes: 17 50.0%

  • Lower mid-table - around 15th place - looking down more than up but not much chance of relegation

    Votes: 15 44.1%

  • Relegation battle - in the mix for the relegation places with 2 or 3 weeks to go, but ultimately sta

  • Relegated - total reset

I think top half is achievable with this squad.

Between 8th-12th should be the target but unfortunately we have hit a bit of a slump, and we have 3 away games in four in January. It’s going to be tough.
 
Mid table is OK if we're progressing - we're not at the moment.
I guess we'll have to see where we are in February once the transfer window is closed & we know the makeup of the squad.
Hopefully a couple of wins & some confidence coming back will make a difference.

Fat fingers I meant to quote and not "like" but anyhoo...

Your first sentence covers it. Too many fans are after a quick fix and any attempt to rebuild this squad to play football on the grass with purpose and style will take time and patience. Our squad, as it stands, is too good for relegation so I'd rule that out as a likelyhood for achieving our greater aim.
 
Survival, main thing after going through such a drastic change in personnel and style of play. Anything more is a bonus.
