Another poor performance again. It's time to give somebody else a chance. He is just a passenger that offers nothing.

Was banging em in for fun last season, guessing he never really hit a flat spot.
Needs to pull himself together sharpish, cos his performance/demeanour not great. Looking like a headless chicken league 1 striker right now.

Yates was always best when he played as a two. Playing him on his own up top isn’t playing to his strengths at all, Kukharevych however is a different story and when he recovers from injury we either need to play him up top alone or with Yates and we will see better performances from Jerry

Mykolo needs to be given a run when back and fit, he offers more in that position given the formation.

Get another player with pace, put him on one side and Lowe the other and we will have good options with Yates and Cullen on the bench.

Couldn’t agree more he is the classic “big man up front” with a seemingly decent touch and some pace

Didn't realise until it was pointed out but Yates scored half his league goals last season in a 3 week period when he wasn't even playing as a striker. 7 goals in 5 games in October mostly playing on the left, plus 5 in the last 6 games of the season and only 2 goals outside those periods. Was "banging them in for fun" during short purple patches but not a consistent threat.
