Now It’s George’s Turn

It was laughable a few months back when everyone from Uri Geller to Tom Jones was being linked with Swansea but now it seems that we have people in Swansea just fancying a crack. My turn at being part of the consortium comes in March next year when I head the “50p a go consortium”

There will be some of you out there who wonder now “who the hell is George Edwards” The answer to that is that he is the editor of the South Wales Evening Post. The same editor who has refused for several years to let his reporters have ‘freedom of speech’ and backs his staff up so well that when his chief football writer at the time was attacked on live radio by Mike Lewis, he refused to let him have the right to reply.

Old Georgie must have been on a fair salary at the Post if he is managing to get into a consortium or is this why he never bad mouthed the powers that be at the Vetch? “Keep it quiet” thinks George “I’ll get in there one day on a cushy number”

Swansea City is infested with people who have one thing on their mind power. Glenn Hoddle must think that we have been bad in a previous life somewhere to allow this to continually happen to our football club. I used to believe that it was just the football that gave us talking points but now it is the ownership that is proving more interesting and something that the scriptwriters round Albert Square couldn’t make up.

Who wants it next. Anyone for a consortium?
