Cash Signs

Cash, who has made 5 substitute appearances for the Forest first team will sign on Thursday for an initial period of one month. Cash has previously been capped at under-21 level for the Republic or Ireland and is a product of their youth acadamey.

Speaking to the official site, Flynn said that Cash had the ability to go past players and deliver a good cross. If that statement proves to be true then we can expect to see an improved service for James Thomas up front, something that clearly we have been lacking this season.

The signing of Cash also dispells any rumours that the club had a transfer embargo habging over it’s head through a dispute with money owed to former Swan, Matthew Bound. It is also the indication that Flynn has recognised some of the weaknesses in the squad and intends to build on what we already have.

We are also led to believe that Jonathan Coates has agreed terms for a week to week deal with the Swans although many fans remain convinced that this will improve the squad. Coates is without doubt a talent but all too often in his time at the club we have been frustrated by this talent never rising to the surface. If he is to return then we hope that the spell out of the game has improved his appetite to play the way that he can.

Cash is expected to go straight into the team for the visit of Southend on Saturday where Swans fans will be hoping that he can play a part in lifting the club off the bottom of the football league.
