Reports are suggesting Swansea City have completed the signing of Accrington Stanley midfielder Ian Craney. Craney is rumoured to have joined on loan with a permanent deal likely to take place in January.
Craney has scored 5 goals from midfield in League Two this season as Stanley make their return from the football league and many Stanley fans believe that he is the key to their relative success. Interestingly, all five have come from outside the penalty area – two direct from corners and two from free kicks with the other a low range shot from the edge of the box.
If he has signed he will go straight into the side for Sunday’s game with Bristol City – probably alongside Alan Tate in the centre of midfield.
